About the Role

Each day you will drive down to our Distribution Hub in Leicester, drop trailer and collect loaded standing trailer. 

 

You will be responsible for:

• Ensure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation

• Comply with all driver hours and Road Transport Directive legislation

• Maintaining safety and security of loads at all times

• Complete daily walk around checks on the vehicle you are driving

• Always promote a professional company image

• Ensure compliance with company policy / procedures

• Full adherence to the highway code

About You

• We are looking for a determined individual with a can-do attitude, whilst going above and beyond to our customers    

• An excellent team player is a must as the ability to communicate effectively with your colleagues will be an important part of your role   

• You should be able to complete paperwork and use smart phone technology

• Drive and ambition with the enthusiasm to learn new skills

 

Candidates must:

• Hold a current clean class 1 driving licence with no major endorsements on your licence

• Hold a current Digi-Tacho card

• Have a valid CPC certificate

• Have an excellent approach to customer service

What we offer:

Hours of work per week are 10/11am until roughly 9.30/10pm Monday to Friday.

 

Rate

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of pay of £13.50.  The Company also offers pension scheme and profit share scheme after your probationary period.  A uniform will be provided.
