Moody’s is a family owned and operated transport, warehousing and logistics company, based in Cramlington who have been in business for over 70 years. Growth and looking after our customers are key to our continued success and we are now looking for another Warehouse Operative to join our busy, successful, award winning team.

 

Essential skills are:

 

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties

• Hold a Counter Balance forklift license

• Computer literate

• Drivers license

• Handyman skills to carry out light maintenance jobs on site

• Experience working in a warehouse

 

Desirable skills are:

• A narrow aisle articulated forklift license

• Experience booking goods in/out of premises

 

You will need to be hard working, with good communication skills. You should be able to complete paperwork be reasonably fit as this can be a very physical job with manual handling involved. As a fast-paced environment it can be pressurised at times, and you will be working towards deadlines.

 

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, with possible overtime.
Standard hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with possible weekend work from 7am till 12pm. 

 

Salary will be up to £9.50 per hour depending on experience. The Company also offers pension scheme, profit share and health scheme after your probationary period. A uniform will also be provided.
