As a family-run business, people have always been at the heart of Moody Logistics. Our recent Company Awards Night was a proud moment for us all, bringing the whole team together to recognise the commitment, loyalty and hard work that keeps our business moving forward every day.
The evening celebrated colleagues from across the company who consistently go above and beyond. To ensure awards reflected ongoing dedication, all winners had completed a minimum of one year’s service with Moody Logistics.
One of the most important parts of the evening was recognising long service. Loyalty and experience are something we truly value, and it was a privilege to celebrate colleagues who have dedicated so many years to the business:
Paul Tweddle (Moody's driver), Steve Doyle (Moody's warehouse), Dean dodd (Moody's driver & Heathline fitter), Matthew Fretwell and Dave Dickinson (Moody's driver & MCR) celebrated 10 years’ service with the company.
Richard Moody (3rd generation director) and Ian Brown (Moody's driver) reached 25 years’ service with Moody Logistics.

These milestones reflect not just years of service, but the relationships, knowledge and commitment that make Moody Logistics feel like family.
Safety, Reliability and Professionalism
We were also proud to recognise outstanding standards achieved by our driving team, whose professionalism and care are vital to our operation. We recognise those with 100% attendance, no vehicle accidents & nil tacho errors during the year. These achievements reflect the high standards our drivers maintain day in, day out.
Driver of the Year – Micky Walton
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of Driver of the Year, awarded to Micky Walton. Micky’s performance throughout the year has been exceptional. He achieved no accidents, 100% attendance, nil tachograph errors, and no Poor vehicle reports. Alongside these outstanding results, Micky is known for his consistently positive attitude and professionalism. His efforts were also recognised by his colleagues, receiving the highest number of employee votes, making him a truly deserving winner.

Employee of the Year - Craig Summers
We were proud to announce that Craig Summers, Heathline Commercials late-night lead fitter, was awarded the Alan Moody Employee of the Year Award at our Annual Awards Night!
Craig’s colleagues nominated him and the directors agreed his contribution to the business this last year has been outstanding. In his over 3 years with us, Craig has shown exactly what it means to be part of the Heathline family – hard work, reliability, and a commitment to supporting his teammates.
Craig's dedication and spirit truly reflect the heart of our business. Craig was also named Apprentice of the year award at the Institute of road transport engineers awards in October. This recognition is so well deserved, and we’re proud to have you as part of our family.

Our Company Awards Night was a reminder that Moody Logistics is more than a business, it’s a family. We are incredibly proud of our team and look forward to celebrating many more achievements together in the future.
