The East Midlands-based logistics giant picked up the accolade for Service Innovation at the Global Freight Awards, beating industry leaders such as Maersk and ShipChain to the award. Pall-Ex was awarded the trophy for its MyNexus IT software, which was developed in-house to provide full visibility and tracking on all palletised freight travelling through its network of independent hauliers.

The technology enhances the customer experience by providing real-time GPS

tracking and electronic proof of delivery, which has traditionally been a challenge due to freight being transported by the SMEs within the Pall-Ex network. The cloud-based system was part of a six-figure investment created with input from Pall-Ex's network members and customers to ensure it was designed with usability in mind. Kevin Buchanan, Group CEO of Pall-Ex, comments: “Our aim was to revolutionise freight visibility and deliver service excellence through the use of market-leading technology “We are proud to receive this accolade as an acknowledgement of our commitment to overcoming industry challenges in order to provide customers with an exceptional service. Pall-Ex has enjoyed a successful 2019, so we are all delighted to celebrate this win. “Pall-Ex has recently entered a new era thanks to an exciting change in the ownership structure and this award win further underlines our continuous strides toward service excellence. “Our strategy of developing market-leading IT to support exceptional service delivery means even more exciting times are on the horizon for everyone in the Pall-Ex network as we continue our culture of working together, winning together.”

This was a really thoughtful and engaging post. I liked how the author explained everyday experiences in such a simple yet meaningful way. It shows that learning can come from reflection as much as structured study. As a student, I often read content like this during study breaks to stay inspired. At times, learners also search for assignment for help through platforms like Rapid Assignment Help when dealing with complex topics. Posts like this help maintain a good balance between learning and personal growth.
