On the evening of Saturday 7th July, Moody Logistics & Storage celebrated the official opening of its half a million-pound extension to its 7-acre site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In its working life the extension (a three-lane cross-deck facility) is set to boost productivity levels and support business growth, but the 12,000 sq ft warehouse-style area was also considered the perfect venue to host the party.
The night was enjoyed by Moody Logistics & Storage staff, customers and suppliers, and included a succulent BBQ, drinks, and live entertainment performed on one of the company’s trailers. The business also took the opportunity to display its restored 1950 Bedford OLBD, fondly named Peggy after Chairman Alan Moody’s mother, which attracted much attention on the night.
Richard Moody, Operations Director for the business commented, “It was such a fabulous night and so good to see everyone come together to mark the occasion. Moody’s really do know how to throw a good party!”
